The Craft Fair
Locally known simply as ‘The Craft Fair’, Shetland Arts and Crafts Association's annual Christmas Craft Fair is a huge and busy event.
Taking over Clickimin Leisure Complex, Shetland makers – of all ages – show and sell their work to visitors from across the islands.
As well as being a great place for Christmas shopping, it's also a lovely opportunity to catch up with people. There are two cafés for between-browsing relaxation.
To give a sense of the scale and popularity of the Fair: before card machines became so easily available, cash machines in Lerwick used to run out of notes over the Craft Fair weekend!

At the fair, you’ll find us in the Bowls Hall on stall 76.
NB The Nielanell studio shop, in Hoswick, will be closed for the duration of the fair.
