Competition
Everyone* who completes the first 20 questions, plus some housekeeping will be entered into our competition (please do fill out the rest of the survey too!).
The deadline for entries is Friday 26th February 2021.
Prize
The winner will choose any piece of Nielanell knitwear from what's in stock on our website. A Smookie jumper, a cape, a wrap...anything.

Competition terms & conditions
- One entry per person.
- Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.
- The prize: the winner can choose any Nielanell garment…a jumper, a wrap, a cape…anything that is in stock on the website when we receive your selection.
- In order to enter the competition, you must complete our research survey. In order to submit your response you will need to complete the questions marked mandatory (not all questions are mandatory).
- Competition closes midnight, Friday 26th February 2021. Winner notified by Tuesday 2nd March. You’ll need to choose your prize by Tuesday 9th March, and we’ll post it out to you at our next shipping date (we’re posting once a week at the moment).
- If the winner does not respond by 9th March, we will draw a new winner.
- There are no returns on knitwear chosen as a prize.
- We will choose a winner at random, from all those who have completed our research survey.
- By entering this competition you agree to be announced as winner (first name,region and country where you live, only)!
- The winner is NOT required to share or send a photograph enjoying their new knitwear, but we do love to receive and see these on social media!
- In entering the competition we do not require you to sign up for our emails, or follow us on social media. Although we’d be so pleased if you would!
- There is no cash alternative to the prize, and the prize must be chosen from knitwear in stock on the Nielanell website, when we receive your choice.
- You can enter this competition whether you are resident in the United Kingdom or elsewhere, and we will include postage to your address as part of the prize. But—should you win—you will be responsible for any local customs costs or other charges arising from the shipping/delivery of your prize.
- This competition is not open to employees, suppliers or stockists of Nielanell, or to members of their households. However, we would be very grateful if employees, suppliers and stockists would take part in our survey.
Survey terms & conditions
- The purpose of this survey is for Nielanell to gather market research—in order to help us with our design, retail and marketing operations.
- Those taking part in the survey must be aged 18 or over.
- The personal information that you include in the survey will not be shared with anyone outside the Nielanell team (which includes some trusted consultants).
- We will need to keep records of the winner, but after the competition is over and a prize has been received, the personal data of other entrants will be deleted (unless the entrant has given consent to be added to our newsletter list, in which case we will retain their name and email address). We will retain anonymised responses to the survey, with no personal data attached.
- We may want to use some of your answers in our marketing materials, as anonymous quotes or statements. If you would prefer that we didn’t, please opt out by checking the relevant box in the survey.
- In entering the survey you agree to allow us to use your responses in our survey statistics, which we may share in our marketing materials. No personal information will be shared in statistics.
- We are conducting our survey in accordance with our full privacy policy.
