The annual includes twelve knitting patterns, including the pattern for Mirrie Dancers Toorie, the 2018 SWW free pattern by 2018 patron Elizabeth Johnston.

The Shetland Wool Week Annual is a beautifully produced publication, edited by Misa Hay. It contains twelve wonderful knitting patterns, and five essays on Shetland life and history—all beautifully illustrated with high quality photography.

Alongside Niela's essay you can read about a vital project for young Shetlanders, Peerie Makkers, the initiative to bring hand-knitting back to primary school age children.
