Additional opening times
Outwith our standard times at the shop, we’re often in our workshop. Look out for the ‘open’ sign at the studio shop. If it’s on, just ring the bell and we'll come across.

Shetland’s Christmas Craft Fair
The studio will be closed 6-8 November 2026.

Year-round opening at Nielanell
From mid-October to the end of April, we are open every week on reduced hours. From May to mid-October, and during Shetland Wool Week, we’re open daily.

Through the autumn and winter, Hoswick Visitor Centre and Café is open Monday to Saturday.
Our neighbours at Shetland Woollen Co. (makers of wonderful, traditional Shetland knitwear) and Karlin Anderson Jewellery Design (beautifully handmade collections and bespoke pieces) are both open in autumn and winter, Monday to Friday.
